| WHAT DOES LATISSE DO? |
LATISSE® solution is simply applied once-nightly, topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. That's it. Then see visible eyelash growth in as little as 4 weeks, while full growth should occur by 16 weeks. This is a real, noticeable improvement on your natural lash growth.
LATISSE® is FDA approved and effective. It's a once-a-day treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. Patients in a clinical trial saw results in as few as 8 weeks with full results after 12 to 16 weeks.
| HOW DOES LATISSE WORK? |
Dramatic lash growth is possible because of LATISSE®’s active ingredient ‘bimatoprost.’ Though it is still unknown precisely why it works, it is believed that LATISSE® targets the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle by not only increasing the number of hairs in the growth cycle, but by extending the length of the cycle itself.
LATISSE® makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient: bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is not known, research suggests that the growth of eyelashes occurs by increasing the percent of hairs in, and the duration of, the anagen (or growth) phase. Lashes can grow longer, thicker and darker because bimatoprost can also prolong this growth phase.

| LATISSE HISTORY |
Allergan, a leader in pharmaceutical technology with 60 years of eye care expertise, created LATISSE® as a result of developing a medicated eye drop to treat elevated intraocular pressure. In 2001, Allergan reported many patients using the new medication experienced fuller and darker eyelashes as a side effect. Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in this medication, was linked to lash growth, and further studied until a successful clinical trial granted LATISSE® FDA approval in December of 2008

| LATISSE SIDE EFFECTS |
What, if any, are the side effects to consider with Latisse?
The most common side effects after using LATISSE® solution are an itching sensation inthe eyes and/or eye redness, which were reported in approximately 4% of patients. Thesemay occur immediately after use, but should usually last only for a short period of time.Eye itching and eye redness are not allergic reactions, and do not mean that your eyes arebeing harmed.
LATISSE® solution may cause other less common side effects, which typically occur onthe skin close to where LATISSE® is applied, or in the eyes. These include eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. Skin darkening (or hyperpigmentation) isanother less common side effect. This condition causes areas of skin to become darkerthan the surrounding skin color.
Increased brown iris pigmentation has occurred when similar medications were instilleddirectly into the eye to treat elevated intraocular pressure/glaucoma. Although irispigmentation was not reported in clinical studies with LATISSE®, patients should beadvised about the potential for increased brown iris pigmentation which is likely to bepermanent.

If you develop a new ocular condition (e.g., trauma or infection), experience a sudden decrease in visual acuity, have ocular surgery, or develop any ocular reactions, particularly conjunctivitis and eyelid reactions, you should stop using the product immediately and seek your local physician's advice concerning the continued use of LATISSE® solution.
